In spite of the complex Ansys engine consideration, Id like to note:1) By using of the export to ANSYS from another format you will have always the problems!2) To avoid the geometry mistakes you should always check the APDL code, namely *.anf file.Advice: If you create geometry in SolidWorks, create it entirely (including air region etc.) without merging and save it as *.sldprt not *.sldasm.

The best and unique way to export the model from SolidWorks into ANSYSis:1) Save the *.sldprt file;2) Open ANSYS Workbench-new geometry-import this *.sldprt file;3) Generate geometry;4) Export from ANSYS Workbench into *.anf (Ansys neural file) format;5) Open ANSYS and chouse read input from - sign to this *.anf file.5.5) You could edit this *.anf file as it is standard APDL format.Bye!
