EPLAN Electric P8 : Ruplan - Eplan - Engineering Base

Hello Eplan Users,Sorry for my English, my German is not so good. German answers are OK for me. We are looking for a new ECAD product. Now we are using Ruplan 4.61.Why should we keep Ruplan? Is Eplan or Engineering Base better than Ruplan? What are the advantages/disadvantages if we should use another ECAD-produkt?I like to have some answers of Ruplan, Eplan or Engineering Base users. I think that is better than answers from Eplan or Aucotec.

Hello Manfred,We are machine builders from Belgium. We are not intrested in EVU.The biggest problem that we have is that we are living on an island with our Ruplan system. We are the only Ruplan-users in Belgium. We can not export our drawings to customers or suppliers. There is nobody in Belgium with the knowledge of Ruplan, nobody can work with it. So if we have a lot of projects, we find nobody to help us. Why do you prefer Eplan? Are you familiar with Engineering Base?

Hello,it´s not so easy to say. It depends on your customer. What system do they prever ? So in germany the customer is king. All systems have good and not so good things. No one can say his system is the best. Of course EPLAN is leader for automobile customer. ELCAD is for EVU´s the best.Manfred

Greetings to Belgium.I answer in German:Ich arbeite mit beiden Systemen: Ruplan 4.61A und Eplan 5.70Mit Eplan bin ich wesentlich schneller in der Bearbeitung von Plänen.Bei Ruplan stört mich am meisten das strikte arbeiten wie Netzbetextungund die Symbolabhängige Artikelverwaltung. Ebenso ist in Eplan bereits eine DXF/DWG/PDF-Schnittstelle integriert, was bei Ruplan ja erst zusätzlich erworben werden muß.Klemmensortierung in bei Ruplan auch nicht grade einfach.Mein Fazit: Eplan ist für mich der Favorit---- ...

Hallo,ich habe mal ein wenig rumprobiert.Ein Seitenfilter im Seiten-Navigator funktioniert hier nicht, das Inhaltsverzeichnis wertet immer alle Seiten aus.Das einzige was funktioniert ist in der Auswertungsvorlage des Inhaltsverzeichnisse einen Filter einzustellen und das Projekt auswerten zulassen, ein Aktualisieren reicht nicht aus.Hier wäre nun die Aufgabenstellung per Skript in der Auswertungsvorlage einen Filter zu aktivieren dann das Projekt neu auszuwerten und zum Schluss wieder den Filter zu deakti ...

Hallo,bei diesen Makros ist gerne mal L+ und M an der Base Unit angetragen, dann kommt es darauf an, ob man Einzelteil oder Baugruppe einfügt.Wie Ditter schreibt: Daten kontrollieren, besonders die aktuellen ET200SP sind teilweise ein Witz.------------------GrüßeRalf--------------
