Dear members,as first, thank you for reading in english!Im new to Modeling, and Im finding first difficulties.One of them is:Is there a quick way to find a part in the assembly tree, by clicking on it in the graphic area?In my mainly used cad (solid edge) I do:right clink on the part in the graphic area--scroll to part--the assembly tree is expanded till the selected part.I was looking for something similar in modeling, due to the fact that assemblies are made of several thousands of part and it is very di ...

Hallo to all, and excuse me to write in english....Im a solid edge user but i have a customer that uses CoCreate OSd as cad tool. Does somebody know if a translator jt--pkg exists? Jt should be a (little) step ahead if compared to step format, because it tramsits not only the 3d geometry, but non-graphic info too, as code, material, surface treatment, etc etc.Regards, Alessandro.

I think that x_t module is not necessary, step format is good enough to pass 3d-geometry and hierarchy of the assembly.The good new things of the jt format are:1) when exporting to jt, user can decide the level of detail, from a "just to see format", similar to stl, to a full-3d-geometry format.2) It is possible to transmit PMI (label on faces, shape tolerances, dimensional tolerance, etc).3) It is possible to transmit non-graphic info that are associated to the model, such as material, heat treatments, co ...

CoCreate Modeling : [English] [Howto] speed up MM on slow lines

Im working as free lance designer for a customer, and he wants me to use OSD and MM trough the internet (normal 7M/512k dsl lines on both sides, so transfer rate is around 64 kb/sec). This make the daily work very boring due to internet latency, so I studied possible solutions. The "Cocreate" solution is the Multisite software, but it is really overpriced if compared to my year income (6000 euros for a permaent license, and each node requires its own license, so two licenses are needed for me and my custom ...

CoCreate Modeling : [English] Add custom command to V18.1 GUI

Im trying to add a button with a custom command to Modeling V18.1.I was able to create a new tab and a new group inside it. Now I cant find the way to add a new button to the new group, with a command string inside it, any suggestions?May be Im missing something really simple: if this is the case I apologize for it, but Im very new to CoCreate environment.
