You can only export from ELCAD to EPLAN 5.7 direkt. You can convert after that the project to P8. This is the only way that function. But you will have a problem with converting the project from 5.7 to P8. The problem will be the symbol libary. I don´t think that will work. I can try it for you if you send me the 5.7 project.

I´ve check the log file. The main Problem is that you use own macros ans symbols. Those symbols are not able to export so easy. To export a ELCAD project to Eplan you have to make your plan by several specifications. If you don´t do this it won´t be able to export it to eplan. This is my knowledge.

I only know that there is a document from ELCAD (i never worked with ELCAD) where it shows how to make a project that will be converted to EPLAN 5.7. You can send me the converted EPLAN 5.7 project. I will try for you to bring it to P8.Hope that helps.

I had some problems with ELCAD symbols. I tried to fix them then convert the project again.Some additional files will create now, but at the end of conversion, they will be deleted!I tried to close the conversion dialog before deleting files, then I can save these files.I think the main ePlan5 converted files are here. (But maybe uncompleted)Ive attached these files to this post. Can you please check them and tell me if they are OK?Thanks a lot.

Hi patfood,if django cant help you there is another way to convert this project. You can contact OpenCAE if you want. I have convert a lot with this company and it works very good. also da ja für keinen Text eine Übersetzung vorhanden ist müssten mir alle ausgegeben werden, mir Fehlen die Texte aber bereits im Wörterbuchein weiteres Problem habe ich mit der Fehlwortliste, bisher hatte ich per Export, das vollständige Wörterbuch exportiert und hier fehlen bereits einige freie Texte, wenn ich versuche die Fehlwortliste zu exportieren erscheint folgende Fehlermeldung"Ein Objekt, das dem angeforderten Namen oder dem Ordinalverweis entspricht, kann nicht gefunden werden."----------------- ...

Hallo Marco,ich kenne bisher nur 2 Probleme. Einen Bug in Eplan bei dem es zu Textverlusten kommen kann. Allerdings sind das dann Kommentartexte. Und ein Problem beim Export der Fehlwortdatei aus Excel heraus.Problem 1 (Eplan):Ist im Wörterbuch ein Platzhalter (%0 usw.) verwendet und es ist ein Kommentartext eingetragen so werden in diesen Fällen die Kommentartexte nicht mit in die Fehlwortdatei geschrieben.Wird diese Fehlwortdatei nach der Übersetzung in das Wörterbuch eingelesen werden für alle Einträge, ...
