Hi Jon,the first question may be: What does the custmers prefer.Both progams may deliver the same usability, I think. If you work for automitive or so, it may be neccessary to use EPLAN.------------------GrüßeRalf--------------

Thank you for the reply Ralf!In this scenario the company I work for is the customer. We develop air compressor/vacuum systems. We are looking for a new software to design control panels. Both software options seem good, though Eplan has more add on features. Our designs are not very complicated; they include some PLC and ladder logic schematics. hello,i do not know very much about E3.but i have some colleagues in the states.i think you will like eplan in concern of the possibilities in the outline drawings. there are many functions which are similar to AutoCAD conderning graphics.creating schematics should be easy for you also since cross referencing can be done without creating parts.wire numbering can be done also in many variations.------------------ruplan4.70 eplan5.xP8 V1.9 bis V2.7

Ich bin im scripten leider noch nicht bewandert.Nun habe ich mir von Suplanus ein einfach Script kopiert und es angepasst.Leider bekomme ich es damit nicht hin, mir fehlt halt das Wissen.
