Hi Jon,the first question may be: What does the custmers prefer.Both progams may deliver the same usability, I think. If you work for automitive or so, it may be neccessary to use EPLAN.------------------GrüßeRalf--------------

Thank you for the reply Ralf!In this scenario the company I work for is the customer. We develop air compressor/vacuum systems. We are looking for a new software to design control panels. Both software options seem good, though Eplan has more add on features. Our designs are not very complicated; they include some PLC and ladder logic schematics. hello,i do not know very much about E3.but i have some colleagues in the states.i think you will like eplan in concern of the possibilities in the outline drawings. there are many functions which are similar to AutoCAD conderning graphics.creating schematics should be easy for you also since cross referencing can be done without creating parts.wire numbering can be done also in many variations.------------------ruplan4.70 eplan5.xP8 V1.9 bis V2.7

Ich bin im scripten leider noch nicht bewandert.Nun habe ich mir von Suplanus ein einfach Script kopiert und es angepasst.Leider bekomme ich es damit nicht hin, mir fehlt halt das Wissen. Hallo Sascha,ich denke, du solltest bei der Klemmleistendefinition unter dem Tab [Klemmenleistendefinition] Klemmenplanformular das richtige Formular eintragen, sonst verwendet Eplan das Formular, welches in den Projekteinstellungen als Standard eingetragen ist.Edit: Ups, ich habe gerade erst gesehen, daß der Formularname auf beiden Bildern identisch ist. Hi Jon,i can say that is better to use EPLAN instead of E3. I work with both and in E3 you have to do more workaround to get "good" drawings. EPLAN has everything already installed and you can start to draw your schematics. Small and easy pneumatic drawings also can be made with standard EPLAN and E3. No extra costs for that. EPLAN has more users and many parts are already have makros that you can make your drawing faster and easier. In E3 you have to do this by your own. And the best is that forum here. Y ...

Durch das bearbeiten deiner Artikeldaten exterm in Excel und anschließendem Import sind nicht die Eigenschaft "letztes Änderungsdatum" (o.ä.) geändert worden, dadurch meint Eplan nun das deine Artikeldatem im Projekt aktuell sind und gleich diese nicht neu ab.Um deine Artikeldaten nun im Projekt aktuell zu bekommen mußt du über "Artikel Aktuelles Projekt abgleichen" gehen und dort alle "Identischen" Artikel nochmal neu von rechts nach links kopieren.------------------grüßeFrankS
