ANSYS : Wear Calculation
Vishnu am 23.01.2014 um 15:40 Uhr (1)
Hallo,I have been trying to simulate Wear between 2 contact surfaces using Ansys 14.5, I know that this feature is available in Ansys 15.0 using Archard Wear Model. Could anyone give me an Idea how to simulate the Wear process using Ansys. Or is it possible? Thanks a ton.Vishnu.

Inventor : Pneumatic Cilinder Simulation
Symen am 08.12.2007 um 11:07 Uhr (0)
Hello,Im trying to simulate a pneumatic cilinder in Dynamic Simulation, it has to go in and out (repeatingly) to make the press work (see picture). The system works now, but with an invisible crank+rod.(the cilinder has a realworld force of 740N, but it isnt neccery to simulate the force, it has to complete the 100mm strokes.) Thanks in advance and regards from the Netherlands,Symen Kalsbeek

Sorry i dont understand your Problem. The Programm doesnt simulate the Tool-way? Is it possible to get the 3D-Model? What NX-Version Do you use? Habs you already try something like planar mill with One locked axis? Have you got the operation mill_multi_axis? GreetsLeo

ANSYS : Wear Calculation
Vishnu am 27.01.2014 um 19:38 Uhr (1)
Hallo Mr.Rainer,Thank you very much for the reply. The details you mentioned are from Ansys 15.0 documentation. These are not available in Ansys 14.5. ( Thers is no chapter 13: Contact Surface Wear in Ansys14.5)However i tried to use those commands TB,WEAR,1,,,ARCD in Ansys 14.5.7, but it is not recognising such commands. I am wondering how did they simulate Contact Surface Wear in Ansys before.Regards,Vishnu

ANSYS : boundary condition
jun_ni am 16.12.2004 um 13:42 Uhr (0)
Hallo everyone, I encounter a problem with my project. Description on my project: The object/structure is a car chassis with four legs at four corners which are fixed on the top of a steel desk. The desk simply stands on the ground without any fixation. In ANSYS I try to make modal analysis of this chassis. Appropriate boundary conditions are expected. At beginning, I only modeled the chassis without four supporting legs. Using DL, L, ALL,0 leads to higher resonance frequency than the experimenta ...
